The inspection fees are set by the KÜS. For a regular car inspection and emission test, you typically pay 164€. A motorbike inspection and emission test costs 92€. For repeated inspections due to failure, smaller fees are charged. Exact prices can be found on our prices page.

A typical inspection lasts 30 minutes. During that time you can take a stroll, visit the stores around or wait at our reception. Of course you can also watch the inspection.

There are different types of failing the inspection. If your vehicle needs substantial work in order to pass the inspection and emissions test, our inspectors will notify you about the required work. You then have two weeks to complete these works and will be charged a small amount on return for completing the inspection.
